Peer Assessments On Photos

This photo is very suitable for Laurence's  music magazine genre which is classical. You would expect a photo in a classical music magazine to be very formal and plain which is exactly what this photo is. It is not over the top like another genre would be and is not particularly colourful which is what you may expect to find in a classical music magazine like you would in for example a hip-hop magazine which is likely to include lots of colour and have many things going on at once within the picture. Although this picture suits the genre of Laurence's music magazine, the fact that it does not contain much colour in it means that it will not be as eye catching as other pictures may be. Therefore I would not use this photo on the front cover of his music magazine and would perhaps use this within the actual magazine itself.
